The FISC Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to acquire one Volunteer/Family Program Coordinator in support of the Family Service Center (FSC) at the Naval Training Center (NTC), Great Lakes, IL. The Contracted individual's primary goal is to encourage all possible military spouses to become involved in educational and volunteer programs on behalf of other Navy families in need. The Contracted individual shall find innovative methods of recruiting and utilizing volunteers to plan, develop, and conduct all Volunteer/Family Programs at a limited cost and at no cost to the Navy family. Above services are to be performed at the NTC. A forty hour work week is required. A firm-fixed price contract is anticipated, with a base period of performance running from 1 October 1997 through 30 September 1998, with two, one year options. This solicitation shall be set aside 100% for small businesses. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the FISC Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia.
