Welding repairs. 2. Renew Diesel Fuel Tank Void Stiffener. 3. Renew Forepeak Frame. 4. Repair Main Deck Rub Rail. 5. 65' WYTL Watertight Hatch Replacement. 6. Align Main Propulsion Engine. 7. Remove, inspect and reinstall propeller shaft. 8. Fabricate and install propeller nut seal retainer. 9. Renew-water lubricated shaft bearings. 12. Renew shaft sleeves. 13. Remove, inspect and reinstall propeller. 14. Perform minor repair and reconditioning of propellers. 15. Clean and test grid coolers. 16. Renew fuel oil service system root valve. 17. Preserve the transducer hull rings and renew the depth indicating transducers 18. Overhaul, renew, test valves. 19. Inspect and overhaul steering gear system. 20. Remove, inspect and reinstall rudder . 21. Renew Rudder Bearings(s). 22. Clean and inspect diesel fuel tanks. 23. Sandblast diesel fuel tanks. 24.Preserve underwater body. 25. Preserve freeboard. 26. Clean and inspect sewage and grey water collection and holding tank. 27. Preserve sewage and grey water collection and holding tank. 28. Preserve potable water tank. 29. Renew corrosion preventive zinc anodes. 30. Provide temporary messing. 31. Provide temporary berthing. 32. Ultrasonic testing. 33. Provide temporary logistics. 34. Routine drydocking. Vessels homepier in Rockland, ME and availability is scheduled to begin 15 Sept 1997. The place of Performance is at the Vessel's Homepier. There will be a non-refundable charge required in the form of a certified check or money order payable to the U.S. Coast Guard in the amount of $100.00 for requested U.S. Coast Guard specification reference drawings. The proposed contract listed here is part of the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program and is open to both large and small businesses. Plans and specifications will be issued on or after 14 May 1997. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the United States Coast Guard. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates up to $500,000 per contract to provide accounts receiving financing. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid performance and payment bonds up to $500,000 per contract. DOT provides an 80 percent guaranty on the bond amount to a surety against losses.
