The Federal Bureau of Prisons, South Central Regional Office, Dallas, Texas, is issuing Request for Quotation (RFQ) 126-0102, and intends to make multiple awards to eligible hospitals and/or other qualified medical entities, within a 60 mile radius of Bastrop, Texas, capable of providing medical services (hospitalization, intensive care, emergency care, consultations, special diagnostic testing, etc.). The successful contractor shall provide all necessary personnel, facilities, equipment, and supplies necessary for the medical care of federal inmates. The resulting contract will be a firm-fixed price, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity type contract with a base year from date of award through twelve months with the possibility of four (4) ensuring one (1) year option periods for renewal. The estimated quantities for these periods are as follows: BASE YEAR -- GUARANTEED MINIMUM INPATIENT DAYS 6, ESTIMATED MAXIMUM 40; OPTION YEAR #1 -- GUARANTEED MINIMUM INPATIENT DAYS 6, ESTIMATED MAXIMUM 42; OPTION YEAR #2 -- GUARANTEED MINIMUM INPATIENT DAYS 6, ESTIMATED MAXIMUM 44; OPTION YEAR #3 -- GUARANTEED MINIMUM INPATIENT DAYS 6, ESTIMATED MAXIMUM 46; OPTION YEAR #4 -- GUARANTEED MINIMUM INPATIENT DAYS 6, ESTIMATED MAXIMUM 48.
