LeQuang, Contracting Officer, 202-708-7654 The U.S. Department of Education, Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services (OSERS), requires the services of a contractor to provide technical assistance in data analysis, evaluation, and report preparation. The work consists of analyzing State-reported data related to the provisions of a free, appropriate public education to all children with disabilities (FAPE); analyzing extant data related to significant and emerging trends and issues related to the implementation of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA); preparing the Annual Report to Congress required by IDEA; and designing and providing technical assistance to States that will assist them in improving the quality of State-reported data. This is a firm fixed price contract with a 36-month base period, and two 12-month options. Anticipated issue date is June 10, 1996 with a closing date of July 9, 1997.
