This project involves the removal and replacement of an existing 6000 gallon steel steam condensate surge tank with a new 6000 gallon steel tank including insulation, level controls and piping. The work includes but is not limited to: demolition, removal and disposal, off site, of the existing tank and appurtenances, temporary removal of pumps, electrical and piping necessary to remove and replace the tank, rigging, reconnection of piping including existing condensate lines, make-up water line and drain connections. The existing medium pressure boilers must remain operational at all times via the contractor providing a temporary storage tank including piping, pumps, and controls as shown on the drawings. The magnitude of construction is bewteen $100,000 and $250,000. The period of performance shall be 130 calendar days. An exclusionary period is not required for this project.
