The Navy has a requirement for one each Nano Calorimeter System. The System is designed to measure heats generated from chemical and physical reactions with a minimum heat flow of 0.4 micro joules. Calorimetry Sciences Corporation Part Number 4500-MS or Equal in accordance with NSWC Crane specifications is acceptable. A firm-fixed price purchase order will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures and is reserved for Small Business. The applicable SIC code is 3821 and the size standard is 500 employees or less. Delivery is required F.O.B. Crane 60 days after effective date of award. It is anticipated that a formal RFQ will be issued to satisfy this requirement. FAR Part 12 procedures will not apply.
