USERS FOR ORACLE 7 LICENSE, MAINTENANCE, TRAINING AND DOCUMENTATION

modify Contract No. 1434-HQ-96-CN-30329 with Oracle Corporation on a
sole source basis to increase the quantities and is conducting a market
search for firms that can provide additional bundles of users to the
Oracle 7 license, software maintenance including new releases, updates,
and patches to the specified software, telephone support in Rolla, MO;
Denver, CO; Menlo Park, CA; and Sioux Falls, SD; and software
documentation both in hard copy and on CD-ROM. The reason no
competition is anticipated is that Oracle has proprietary rights to all
proposed software as developer of the software and not sub-licensing
any other organization to modify or maintain its proprietary product.
This modification is a commercial item acquisition being conducted
using the authority in FAR 13.6. Quantities will be increased as
follows: line item x003 Point of Contact (+17), x005A 50-user bundle
additional users to Oracle 7 (+14), x005F Discoverer 2000, 10-user
bundle (+10); x007A Support for x005A (+33); x007F Support for x005F
(+40); x005B Designer 2000, 10-user bundle (+6); x005C Developer 2000,
10-user bundle (+5); x007B Support for x005B (+20); x007C Support for
x005C (+ 20); X005D Programmer 2000, 10-user bundle (+6); x006A
Webserver (+10); x005E Parallel Server Option (+98); x007D Support for
x005D (+20); x007E Support for x005E (+148); x007G Support for x006A
(+28). Oracle software purchased through other contracts may be added
to this contract for software maintenance. Software support for Oracle
products running under the DG/UX operating system, for Oracle products
operating in client mode under MS/DOS, MS/WINDOWS and SCO/UNIX
operating systems, and for Oracle products operating in client mode
under MS/DOS, MS/WINDOWS and SCO/UNIX operating systems is mandatory.
The schedule completion date for the contract is September 30, 2001.
Firms that can provide the services described in this announcement are
invited to submit qualification information to support their
capabilities. Information should be submitted to this office within 30
