The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) intends to procure, by negotiation, Coil Packaging Tray Film, BEP Stock No. 1L))1877, in accordance with the BEP Specification F: CPT-2 dated June 2, 1995. This material will be used for the manufacture of trays for the packaging of postage stamp coils in the Bureau of Engraving and Printing. This material will be used to wrap finished coils of 100 stamps. This procurement will be solicited in accordance with the guidelines for acquisition of commercial items found in Part 12 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation. The contract will be a firm fixed price, requirement type. The period of performance will be one (1) base year plus three (3) one-year option periods. Estimated quantities for the base year will be 7,350,000 feet, first option will be 8,820,000 feet, second option will be 10,584,000 feet, third option will be 12,700,800 feet, and fourth option will be 15,240,960. The solicitation will be available on or about October 8, 1997. Interested firms are required to submit a written request for a copy of Solicitation BEP-97-31(TN) to the attn: Jesse L.
