The solicitation should be issued on or about Jun 9, 1997 with a 15-day closing period. Rental of pager services under a requirement type contract at various locations on the island of Oahu. Services to include neighbor island coverage, voice mail, message entry terminal, and group call capabilities. Estimated quantity of 2300 digital pagers, 1100 alphanumeric pagers, and 40 nationwide pagers ranging from daily through yearly rental requirements. Response time to provide pager(s) for short and long term rental must be within four (4) hours. The contract performance is for the period of 01 October 1997 though 30 September 1998 with two (2) 12 month option periods. The Government intends to include the option clause FAR 52.217-8 in the solicitation. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
