The work of this project consists of maintenance and improvement dredging of Hyannis Harbor, Hyannis, Massachusetts. The work requires the use of a hydraulic dredge for construction of an in-channel disposal cell and dredging of the outer channel plus the use of a mechanical dredge for dredging of the inner harbor area. Material from the inner harbor dredge site shall be disposed in the cell and the cell shall be capped using clean granular material dredged from the outer channel. Remaining sandy material from the outer channel shall be pumped to the surrounding beaches. Stabilization of dredged material using beach grass plantings shall be required at portions of Dunbar Point. (0143)
