Z -- REMOVE/REPLACE ROOF ON BUILDING 501 SOL IFB 613-45-97 DUE 070997 POC Bertha Geraghty Furnish all materials, equipment, labor, tools and services to remove, dispose & replace approx. 21,210 sq.ft. of existing EPDM roof on building 501, Nursing Home Care Unit located at the VA Medical Center, Martinsburg, WV 25401. Work includes, but not limited to, the removal and legal disposal of the existing roofing materials, metal flashing and trim, support boards, insulation and wood nailing strips. The replacement shall require a new white polyester reinforced EPDM roofing material with tapered, rigid insulation for proper drainage, new pressure treated nailers, waterproof plywood sheathing, anodized bronze flashing and trim to match existing, waterproof caulks and sealants and a drainage design drain. The removal and demolition of existing roofing materials require certified landfill disposal. The new restoration work requires the services of underwriters laboratory inspector and acceptance require a water drainage test for proper drainage and leaks and certification from the manufacturer for a twenty (20) year warranty. All work shall be completed in accordance with specifications and drawings. SIC is 1761. Cost range is $100,000 - -- $250,000. Issue date on or about 6/9/97 and the BOD is approx. 7/9/97.
