Specialist 201-724-2024. On behalf of Program Manager-SADARM, the US
Army Tank-automotive and Armament Command, Research, Development, and
Engineering Center (TACOM/ARDEC) seeks qualified sources to perform a
fifty-seven month Engineering & Manufacturing Development (E&MD) effort
for the DPICM ER projectile. This effort also includes options for E&MD
& LRP efforts for DPICM SLS, SADARM XM982 projectile, and a Unitary
XM982 projectile. Contingent upon meeting established security
requirements, industry of the following countries have been determined
eligible to participate in the XM982 program: France, Germany, and
United Kingdom. Foreign industry desiring copies of the RFP which are
identified in this announcement as eligible will submit an official
request through their embassy to HQ DA (DAMI-POC), Washington, DC
20310-1001. ACQUISITION STREAMLINING PROCEDURES will include posting of
a formal Requests For Proposal (RFP) DAAE30-97-R-0053 on ARDEC's
"PROCNET" website located at
http://procnet.pica.army.mil/cbd/rfp/97r0053/97r0053.htm. ELECTRONIC
COMMERCE CONSIDERATIONS include the intent, insofar as practicable, of
conducting this acquisition electronically, with minimum actual paper.
