20 -- REPLACEMENT PARTS FOR THE DREDGE YAQUINA SOL DACW57-97-Q-0236 DUE 061397 POC Purchasing Agent ANITA R. SIMPKINS (503) 326-6424 (Site Code DACW57) The Portland District Corps of Engineers intends to place an order with LIPS USA INC, 900 Washington Avenue, Ocean Springs, Mississippi 39564 for the following parts: one (1) assembled pod excluiding fixed propeller, one (1) pinionshaft and crownwheel, including all necessary parts, and one (1) set of spare parts which includes o-rings, bearings, v-rings, oil seals, bonded seals, retaining rings, and locking rings. The Agency intends to issue one (1) Purchase Order for the entire requirement. FOB: Portland, Oregon approximately 8 weeks after receipt of signed purchase order. These are replacement parts for existing equipment and no other brand will meet the Agencys needs. Statutory authority for other than full and open competition 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Firms that recognize and can furnish the required items are encouraged to identify themselves to the Contracting Officer which will permit their participation in the current or future solicitations.
