The Navy requires manufacture of 1 each remote controlled CNC lathe for hazardous locations in accordance with specification pertaining to the design, manufacture, and installation of a hazardous location flat bed CNC lathe with remote and on-site controls for use in the machining of ordnance components. A firm-fixed price purchase order will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures and its reserved for Small Business. The applicable SIC code is 3542 and the size standard is 500 employees or less. Delivery is required F.O.B. Crane 60 days after effective date of award. It is anticipated that a formal RFQ will be issued to satisfy this requirement. FAR Part 12 procedures will not apply.
