DALTON (816)823-1295 or ALAN BASLER (816)823-1297 Solicitation will issue for approximately 594 miscellaneous powered and non-powered hand tools on or about June 13, 1997 and will close on or about July 23, 1997. Purchase descriptions will be in accordance with Commercial Item Purchase Descriptions, Federal Specifications, Military Specifications, Drawings, ANSI/ASME, ASTM, Drawings, GSA Purchase Descriptions, US Postal Service Specifications and U.S. Post Office Drawing, technical descriptions, etc. Award is anticipated to be made to one vendor based on price and vendor performance history with performance history being weighted higher than price. FOB Destination will be required on routine orders. Delivery to various activities in the Continental United States will be required in 14 days and expedited shipment in 72 hours when required. Commercial warranty will be required on all items. A requirements contract of a five year base period with five one year options is anticipated.
