Product outline: Digital Satellite Communications Multiplex Equipment is used in a multimedia satellite communications system consisting of a transmitting earth station and receiving earth stations. This equipment multiplexes ATM cell frames and MPEG-2 TS, and encrypts the signals for conditional access. By using the system, customers will be able to efficiently obtain multimedia information such as data, video, and audio. This equipment is connected with other transmitting equipment (ATM switch, encoder, and modulator), which are to be prepared separately by NTT.
