Contractor shall supply and install Cold-Weld Resonator Sealing System. The system shall be capable of sealing HC-35,HC-37, HC-40, HC-43, and HC-47 resonator packages. Also, shall include operating and maintenance manuals, one year warranty, and one day training at ARL. Complete system installation at ARL, Adelphi, MD time frame is September 1998. The system will be used for evaluating the performance of new piezoelectric materials as well as innovative resonator designs. This award is intended to be awarded on a sole source basis to XECO, Inc., Cedar City, UT. A market survey with commercial resonators manufacturers was performed and XECO, Inc., was the only source found that could design and build a system that meets are requirements listed above.
