The FISC Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to procure on a sole source basis in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 an Engineering Change Proposal which will upgrade selected aspects of the Interface Shipsets (ISS) which are required as part of the Global Positioning System (GPS) modification program for the C-130 aircraft. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or to submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purposes of determining whether to conduct competitive procurement. (0147)
