unrestricted; all responsible sources may submit a proposal. This is a
combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in
accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with
additional information included in this notice. This announcement
constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a
separate written solicitation WILL NOT be issued. Solicitation No.
N00604-97-R-0040 applies and issued as a Request for Proposal. This
solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those
in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-45 and Defense
Acquisition 91-11. The standard industrial code is 5064 and the
business size standard is 100 employees. This requirement is for a
fixed price contract for four (4) line items as follows: LOT 1, Line
item 0001: Qty-200 each; Item Description: DISHWASHER, portable,
electric, to include: Washing System-minimum (min.) 3 level washing
levels; Controls-min. 5 automatic cycles, min. 8 option combinations,
normal wash/short wash, rinse, wash, pots and pans scrubber;
Features-door latch, sealed detergent dispenser, drain check valve,
overfill protector, high side upper and lower racks, rinse aide
dispenser, hideaway hoses and power cords, quick connect,
4-rollers/casters; Top-full-sized butcher block wood-look; Color-white,
control panel black or white; Electrical-120 volts, 60 Hz;
Dimensions-36" to 37" Height, 26" to 27" Depth, 24" to 26" Width; LOT
2, Line item 0002: Qty-200 each; Item Description: Same description as
LOT 1; LOT 3, Line item 0003, Qty-200 each, Item Description: Same as
LOT 1; LOT 4, Line item 0004, Qty-200 each, Item Description: Same as
LOT 1. Delivery of LOT 1 is required by 30 June 97. Delivery of LOT 2
is required by, 04 August 1997. Delivery for LOT 3 is required by 01
September 1997. Delivery of LOT 4 is required by 01 October 1997.
Delivery will be made FOB Destination to the Navy Aloha Center, 3189
Nimitz Road, Warehouse 12, Honolulu, HI 96818. Acceptance shall be made
at destination. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to
Offerors-Commercial Items applies. Addendum to FAR 52.212-1: Paragraph
(b) (4), Technical Description-Delete entire paragraph. Substitute
"Descriptive literature of the items being offered MUST be submitted
with the offer in sufficient detail to evaluate compliance with the
specification listed above." Offerors are required to complete and
include a copy of the following provisions with their proposals: FAR

FAR 52.212- 4: Paragraph (o), Warranty-Add: "Additionally, the
Government will accept the contractor's commercial warranty." Add the

Preference for Small Disadvantaged Business Concerns-Alternate I; DFARS
252.225-7001, Buy American Act and Balance of Payment Program; DFARS
252.225-7007 Trade Agreements; DFARS 252.233-7000, Certifications of
Claims and Request for Adjustment or Relief. The Government intends to
made award(s) to the responsible contractor whose proposal is
technically acceptable, in full compliance to all other requirements
set forth in the solicitation and the lowest cost or price. The
Government reserves the right to judge which proposals show the
required capability and the right to eliminate from further
consideration, those proposals which are considered unacceptable and
not capable of being made acceptable without major rewrite or revision.
