89 -- CARBONATED/NONCARBONATED BEVERAGES SOL RFQ 275-0027-7 POC Tony Hiscocks, Contract Specialist, 913-682-8700 ext. 610 The Federal Bureau of Prisons has a requirement for the provision of Carbonated and Noncarbonated soft drinks and beverages along with the equipment to dispense the requirements. The governmnet intends to make a single award to the offeror offering the best value to the government. A requirements type contract is contemplated. This requirement is advertised as 100% Full and Open competition. The proposed contract award will be a base year and two option years with an estimated award date of October 1, 1997. The requirement calls for 5 gallon bag in the box post mix at a 5 to 1 mix ratio. the government estimates it will use 16,355 containers of various flavored carbonated beverages per contract year, and 7,116 containers of noncarbonated beverages. Offerors are advised that the delivery location for various beverages are at sixteen different location located throughout the North Central and Mid-Atlantic areas of the United States.
