The Defense Special Weapons Agency (DSWA) plans to award a sole source contract modification to Maxwell Technologies, Inc. to provide additional user Testing support on the advanced concept experiment (ACE-4) simulator located at Maxwell Technologies. Maxwell is currently providing this support under DSWA contract number DNA001-95-C-0078. This modification will be for a period of 12 months and supports Plasma Radiation Source (PRS) development efforts. DSWA believes that Maxwell is the only responsible source which currently has the unique experience base on the ACE-4 simulator that is required to cost effectively conduct the effort in the time required.
