FREQUENCY-MODULATED VHF SOUND BROADCAST TRANSMITTERS, THK 8A/97 M The
following notification is being circulated in accordance with Article
10.6. G/TBT/Notif.97.194. 1. Member to Agreement notifying: FINLAND. If

addition, where applicable): This regulation shall apply
frequency-modulated sound broadcast transmitters operating within the
frequency band 87.5 to 108.0 MHz. An individual frequency assignment
and a licence are needed for their use. 5. Title, number of pages and

This draft is a total revision of an old regulation containing national
specifications. Its main purpose is to implement nationally the ERC
Decision ERC/DEC/(96)13 concerning ETS 300 384. The conformity
assessment procedures will be aligned with the new draft ERC Decision
(ERC/DEC/(97)AA) on mutual recognition conformity assessment including
marking of radio equipment and radio terminal equipment as soon as
this Decision after its final adoption in July will be adopted in the
national relevant regulations. The Regulation contains a mutual
recognition clause for test reports from other European Economic Area

transmitters. 7. Objective and rationale: The aim of this Regulation is
the efficient use of the radio frequency spectrum. 8. Relevant
