synopsis/solicitation for commercial parts prepared in accordance with
the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional
information included in the notice. This announcement constitutes the
only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written
solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quotation (RFQ)
number DTCG80-97-Q-3FAGM4. This solicitation document will incorporate
provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition
Circular 90-45. The standard industrial classification code is 3563 and
the size standard is 500. The requirement is for the following: Two (2)
each, Air Compressor, 230 cfm at 100 PSIG belt driven full load, 1.25"
service line connections, 88dBA unenclosed max sound, air cooled, set
up for 4 "V" belt drive, air intake filter, max dimensions: 64" long,
45" high, 34" deep and a two (2) year warranty. Ship one (1)
compressor to: USCGC WEDGE, 1900 Coast Guard Drive, Demopolis, AL 36732
and ship one (1) compressor to: USCGC GASCONADE, 9800 J.J. Pershing
Drive, Omaha, NE 68112. The government will award a contract resulting
from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer
conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the
government, price and other factors considered. The following factors
shall be used to evaluate offer: Price, Required Delivery Date. The
following FAR Clauses will apply to this solicitation: 52.219-6 Notice
