The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, NJ intends to enter into negotiations with Lockheed Martin Information Systems Corp. for the maintenance of a CASS Hybrid Tester under the terms and conditions of Basic Agreement N68335-96-H-0057. Lockheed Martin is the developer and original equipment manufacturer of the CASS Hybrid Tester. Maintenance service will take place beginning on/about 1 Nov 97 in Bethpage, NY. The Government intends to procure these services under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not own data, drawings, software or other specifications to permit full and open competition. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal which may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
