R -- TRANSFERRING KNOWLEDGE AND COMPETENCIES TO ACHIEVE LEADERSHIP IN COLLABORATIVE PRACTICE SOL 240-BHPr-23(7) DUE 071897 POC Dottie Laws Watson, Contracting Officer, (301-443-2750) The Health Resources and Services Administration is soliciting proposals from sources having the capability to plan, develop and conduct a leadership conference, including logistical support, which will enable key educators and practitioners of the Allied Health Projects Grant Program, Interdisciplinary Rural Training Grant Program, Chiropractic Demonstration Projects Grant Program and Geriatric Education Center Program to interact, exchange information and jointly plan needed actions to accomplish cross program objectives, to enhance collaboration among all communities-of-interest and to meet new chanllenges for a changing health care delivery environment. Sources shall be selected under Section 767, 777(a), 778 and 782 of Title VII of the PHS Act, which limits awards to public health departments, schools, universities, or other educational entities (public or nonprofit private) which provide for health personnel education and training. It is anticipated that a one year cost-reimbursement completion type contract will be awarded. All responsible sources capable of providing the above services are invited to submit proposals.
