R -- SURVEY INSTRUMENT DEVELOPMENT AND ANALYSIS OF DATA ON DEPARTMENTS OF FAMILY MEDICINE SOL 240-BHPr-12(7) DUE 071697 POC Dottie Laws Watson, Contracting Officer, (301-443-2750) The Health Resources and Services Administration proposes to negotiate a contract on a sole source basis with the Association of Departments of Family Medicine, to develop a survey instrument that can be used to collect data on the financial and organizational structures of the academic departments of family medicine within our nation's allopathic medical schools and to provide for the analysis of data collected with the revised survey instrument; this data will be collected independently. The Association of Departments of Family Medicine is deemed the only responsible source capable of providing the required work and services as set forth in 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) -- only one responsible source.
