The US Postal Service is soliciting proposals to construct and lease on a controlled site approximately 5,196 net interior square feet; 1,620 square foot enclosed platform on a 36,000 square foot site, which has been leased from the Nantucket Airport for a carrier annex in the Town of Nantucket for a base term of 30 years. It is important to note that there will be a mandatory pre-proposal conference held at the Nantucket Airport on June 9, 1997, between 1:00 and 3:00 pm. At that time drawings and specifications will be distributed and the actual site and site work will be reviewed. All interested offerors who atttend the mandatory pre-proposal conference will have until June 30, 1997, to submit their proposal for this lease construction project. Proposal package requests must be be accompanied by a certified check or money order in the amount of $50.00 made payable to: "USPS Disbursing Officer" by Monday,June 9,1 1997.
