The Contracting Officer for this solicitation is L.R. Fisk The work includes construction of a two-story, 3216 square meter headquarters for the 10th Air Force, including site utility relocation, site demolition, and new site work for the building and parking lot. The structure shall be steel frame, with composite concrete floor slab. The exterior walls shall be exterior insulation and finish system on cold-formed metal framing with split-faced concrete masonry unit wainscot. The fenestrations shall be aluminum store front window and door frame units with reflecting insulated glass. The roofing system shall be EPDM, single ply fully adhered system on rigid insulation. A standing seam metal roofing system shall be located over the south and west entrances and entrance corridors with clerestory at entry corridor. The interior walls shall be painted gypsum board systems. Ceramic tile shall be provided on floor and west walls of the toilets and in the entry corridor extending out into the exterior entrance paving under the entry canopy. the remainder of the walls in the toilets and the walls in the command area of the building shall have vinyl coated fabric wall covering. The corridors and office shall be carpeted and the kitchen and break rooms shall have resilient flooring. The ceilings shall be suspended lay-in acoustical panel ceiling system with special areas of suspended gypsum board. The elevator shall be hydraulic. The mechanical system shall be composed of VAV boxes and hydronic heating system. Primary equipment includes air cooled chiller and hot water boiler. The building shall be fully sprinkled. (0147)
