Z -- INSTALL UNACCOMPANIED OFFICER'S QUARTERS PARKING SHELTERS SOL F41685-97-R0031 DUE 062697 POC Juanita Rodriguez, Contracting Officer, (210)298-5608 Work includes, but is not limited to furnishing all plant, labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, waste testing/disposal, and services necessary to provide covered parking for all 196 parking spaces at the Unaccompanied Officer's Quarters in accordance with the Statement of Objectives. The structure will be of steel construction, have an 8'6" minimum height at the lowest point, have a 100 mph wind rating, 20 psf live load capacity, 2' overhang on all ends with no obstructions, baked enamel coating on topside and trim, meet approved base color schemes (bronzed)(Sherwin-Williams color #4008), one year construction guarantee, 10 year finish guarantee. Design must conform to ASTM A-500, Specifications for Structural Tubing for construction of bridges and buildings, and other ASTM standards appropriate to the material in use. Installation will be in accordance with Manufacturer's specifications and requirements. Environmental concerns: paint striping used to designate parking spaces tested positive for LBP contamination; contractor will test and dispose of the LBP in accordance with all applicable base, state, and federal guidance, with removal from Laughlin AFB at no expense to the Government. Upon project completion red-line as-built drawings will be required to be submitted. The project magnitude is between $100,00 and $250,000. Performance period is 90 days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. The Standard Industrial Code for the project is 1542, with a Small Business Size Standard of $17,000,000 in average annual receipts for the preceding three years.
