58 -- RANGE BEARING TRACKING SYSTEM SOL RFP-7103 POC Edith M.Young The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has a requirement for two (2) Rangebearing Tracking Systems. This contract shall be initial award with one (1) year renewal option. This will be a Firm Fixed Price Contract. At a minimum the rangebearing system shall provide in addition to bearing an accurate range to the beacon by measuring the time required for the beacon to respond to an RF interrogation signal. The system shall operate from a moving automobiles ground to ground or from an aircraft to ground. This system shall consist of three major components; Transponder, Transceiver, and Display Panel. A complete copy of specification shall be provided upon written request for RFP 7103. All vendors are advised in order to receive this solicitation a Non Disclosure Agreement will be supplied and required prior to issuance. Tentative release date for solicitation is June 25,1997. All request for solicitation packages shall be submitted in writing referencing Request for Proposal (RFP) 7103 and postmarked no later than 15 calendar days from date of this notice. Any request postmarked after 15 days will be subject to the availability of solicitation packages.
