This is a combined synopsis solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation 52SBNB760162 is issued as a Request for Proposal. CLIN 0001 is for one each Optical Spectrum Analyzer consisting of the following specifications: Resolution must be less than or equal to 0.05 nanometers; Wavelength range must be 350-1750 nanometers; Maximum power range must be greater than 15 Decibel Milliwatts;Minimum power range must be less than -90 Decibel Milliwatts; Polarization independence must be less than +-0.05 Decibel; Must have a built-in high quality fast printer; Must have a built-in floppy drive; The floppy must be easily transferable to a Personal Computer and have standard format (TIFF, ASCII, or bitmap); Screens must be large (greater than 9"), color and clear; The equipment has to be easy to use, Vendor shall provide a warranty covering parts and labor for at least one year and a three year extended warranty.
