(703)604-2000 The Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue an order
to Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation (SAC), 6900 Main Street, P. O. Box
9729, Stratford, CT 06497-9129, under Basic Ordering Agreement
N00019-96-G-0023. SAC will perform a feasibility study for increasing
the H-60 air vehicle/Airborne Low Frequency Sonar transducer ground
clearance by 1.8 inches. The contractor shall identify the options
considered, supporting analysis performed for each option, including
life cycle cost (non-recurring, recurring, and operation and support),
schedule, and technical considerations, and a recommended solution.
SAC as the sole source manufacturer of the H-60 air vehicle and the
Service Life Assessment Program (SLAP) contractor is the only
contractor with the knowledge, expertise, and technical information to
