Smith Contracting Officer (919) 541-0635 The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has a requirement to modify source code for Highland Technologies' HighView 2.4, the Agency's network-based imaging software standard. These modifications are to address and resolve software problems that adversely affect image systems operations. Highland Technologies has been determined to be the only source capable of provideing EPA with these proprietary source code modifications. Once modifications are completed, the contractor shall be responsible for thoroughly testing the software modifications in their development environment, as well as in EPA's environment. When software modifications have been successfully installed, the contractor shall update documentation and training materials. EPA intends to negotiate a sole source procurement with Highland Technologies, 4303 Forbes Boulevard, Lanham, MD 20706. The period of performance is expected to be from date of award through 90 days. All interested parties may respond within 15 days of the date of this announcement.
