Federal Aviation Administration, Great Lakes Region, has a requirement
for partial removal of old Runway 5L-23R Navaid Facilities at
Indianapolis International Airport, Indianapolis, Indiana. The required
work consists of, but is not limited to, removal of an outer marker
facility and its appurtenances, removal of glide slope and localizer
underground gasoline and diesel oil storage tanks, removal of surficial
stained soil, removal of an underground waste oil sump tank, and
removal of old pad-mounted transformers. The estimated procurement
value is between $25,000 and $100,000. Contract award will be based on
the best value to the FAA. The period of performance is 60 calendar
days. Offers received from firms who have sucessfully completed
projects similar in scope and magnitude at an active airway facility
will be given primary consideration. The successful offeror will be
required to obtain any necessary state or local permits. The
solicitation will be available on or around June 16, 1997. Solicitation
