Concerns having the ability for providing short term juvenile community-based correction center services for male and female federal offenders. Those interested are requested to give written notification (including telephone number and a point of contact) to the contracting officer listed in this notice. Services required include care, custody, control, accountability, and treatment, to include furnishing of subsistence and medical services, except the expense of hospital, surgical, prescriptions, and dental treatment. The services described shall be in accordance with the Bureau of Prisons' Statement of Work. Location shall be in the Meade County, South Dakota area. Estimated total number of mandays for 2,920 mandays for the base and 1,460 mandays for option years one, two and three. Estimated RFP issue date is o/a June 24, 1997, estimated closing date is o/a August 25, 1997. Contract base period is 12 months with three one-year options to renew. A requirement contract is anticipated. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by this Agency. No collect calls will be accepted.
