To provide clinical engineering services to the service units located in the Aberdeen Area IHS states of ND, SD, NE, and IA. Services to be performed on a quarterly basis for calibration, preventive maintenance, electrical safety testing, and performance testing of medical and dental equipment for the support of direct patient care. Inspection and installation of new equipment and the training of professional staff on equipment requirements. Repair of nonfunctioning equipment as requested by individual service units. Provide consultation services for the operation and selection of medical and dental equipment to the administrative staff. The contract will require a large amount of travel. The contract will be performed over a period of one (1) year from the date of award with three (3) one-year options to extend for a total of four years. Requests for copies of RFP 97-14 will be available 15 days from the date of this publication. The offer due date is tentatively scheduled for July 16, 1997.
