Barker Reservoir Campground Reconstruction. Project will include construction of a trailhead and picnic area, two trailheads and group camping areas, a 17 unit camping area, and a group camping area. Also included shall be a water system to serve the areas, and a bypass road around the 17 unit camping area. The project is located approx. 20 miles northwest of Escalante Utah in the Barker Reservoir Drainage Area. Access via Forest Road 30149, North Creek Drainage. Pre-bid site tour will be conducted on June 16, 1997. Prospective bidders should meet at the Escalante Interagency Building on the west end of Escalante at 10:00 a.m. Bid packages are available at $20.00 per set, non refundable.
