Z -- ROAD CONSTRUCTION PROJECT SOL 1443-IB-7170-97-003 DUE 070197 POC Jeff Sena, Contract Specialist, 505-885-8884, ext. 14 Furnish all labor, materials and equipment necessary in performing all operations in connection with the general road construction at two National Parks as follows: (1) Carlsbad Caverns National Park Entrance Road and Paved Pullouts: Cleaning asphalt roadways, patching and crack sealing existing asphalt, providing an asphaltic seal and cover aggregate, and restriping. Existing Secondary Pullouts, those that are not paved, shall be rehabilitated with new basecourse. (2) Guadalupe Mountains National Park McKittrick Canyon Road and Parking: Cleaning asphalt roadways, patching and crack sealing existing asphalt, providing an asphaltic seal and cover aggregate, and restriping. Some road shoulder reconstruction and concrete work is included. Carlsbad Caverns National Park is located near White City, New Mexico, just off of U.S. Highway 62/180 approximately 15 miles southwest of Carlsbad, New Mexico. Guadalupe Mountains National Park is approximately 40 miles south of White City, New Mexico on U.S. Highway 62/180. The estimated price range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The estimated performance period is 90 calendar days. This solicitation is unrestricted.
