The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) is seeking sources that can provide an Off-Line Web Finishing Machine to produce various types of U.S. Securities. The Off-Line Finishing Machine must be capable of trimming, die cutting, margin punching, perforating, numbering, marking and fan folding 28 pound paper (0.0052 inch thick) and 90 pound cotton paper (0.0073 inch thick). A draft copy of the specification has been posted on the Office of Procurement's Internet site at http://www.ustreas.gov/treasury/bureaus/bep/proc/ serv2.html. The BEP plans to issue a solicitation for this requirement in the near future.
