Clin 0001 is for 25 each Telemetry Transmitter Chip Sets, this is an research and development effort (this will be the guaranteed minimum). Clin 0002 will be for an estimated 1500 additional Chip Sets (3 years). The US Army is leading a program titled Hardened Subminiature Telemetry and sensor System (HSTSS). This project will provide for the development of extremely small high-g instrumentation systems incorporating advances in the subminiaturization of sensors, data acquisition, telemetry, power supplies and high density packages are to be small enough to fit within artillery and tank projectiles, tactical missiles etc., and measure parameters such as attitude (roll, pitch, and yaw), accelerations, temperatures, pressures and telemeter the data through an RF link for real time, in-flight measurements. These categories of tests are single events requiring reliable systems, and test articles are generally non-recoverable. Technical proposals will be required in response to the solicitation.
