62 -- UPGRADE TO LIGHTING SYSTEM IN MAIN OPERATING ROOM SOL N00168-97-Q-M719 DUE 061297 POC Contracting Officer, Tracy Holland, 301 295-6490 The National Naval Medical Center intends to award sole sourced service contract to Berchtold Corporation for upgrading surgical lighting system in the Main Operating Room. This service will include upgrading existing circuitry and installing new technology to enhance light delivered to surgical field as well as prevention of drifting of lights. Must use original Berchtold manufacturers approved materials and methods. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed service based upon responses to this notice is solely with in the discretion of the Government. Information received will be normally considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Oral communications are not acceptable.
