This RFP is a Small Business Set-Aside. The VA Medical Center, Phoenix, Arizona is seeking qualified, responsible, Small Business firms who have the technical expertise and necessary labor, materials, parts, equipment, shipping and transportation to provide adds, moves, changes and growth (follow-on services and full maintenance of a Government-owned Meridian Option 81 EPABX with Meridian Mail, telephone system. Req;uirement is also for cabling of new 127SF Ambulatory Care Addition during basic contract period. All work will be under the direction of an onsite Telecommunications Specialist. Firms must be certified by the manufacturer as qualified to perform installation, maintenance, and service and must demonstrate that the manufacturer will provide diagnostic support, software and hardware upgrades and authorizes the contractor to sublicense software for use with new systems or upgrades. Contract period will be 10-1-97 through 9-30-98 with four single year options. Solicitation will be available on or about 7-8-97. Requests must be in writing. Telephonic requests will not be honored.
