Federer, Contracting Officer, (404) 842-6789 The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) contemplates award of a five year contract (including options) to provide the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR) with an as-needed mechanism to obtain data collection and data management support services relating to agency-sponsored health studies. Contractor will also assist in preparation of data collection instruments, perform community outreach activities, support the conduct of public meetings, and implement public awareness programs to enhance subject participation in sponsored studies. Contractor must be capable of responding to short-turn-around times, dealing effectively with fluctuating workload, and managing on-site work requirements, which may be performed anywhere in the United States and its territories. The nature, scope and complexity of specific work requirements will vary from project to project, and will be clarified via individual Task Orders, which will be issued for each sponsored study. Written requests for copies of the solicitation will be honored if received within 15 days of the RFP issue date, which will be on or about June 23, 1997. Requests received after that date will be filled on a first-come-first-served basis until the supply is exhausted.
