R -- EVALUATE NATIONAL DATA SOURCES ON NURSE PRACTITIONERS, PA'S AND CNM'S SOL HRSA-97-BPHC-B32038 DUE 071497 POC Aileen Broider-301-443-5231 The Health Resources and Services Administration intends to negotiate on a SOLE SOURCE basis with the American Association of Colleges of Nursing, One Dupont Circle, N.W., Washington, DC. 20036. This procurement shall be processed in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in Part 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations. The purpose of this procurement is to investigate, evaluate and make recommendations on available national data sources regarding nurse practitioners, physician assistants and certified nurse-midwives. The contractor shall: conduct a telephone investigation, make recommendations on the creation of a database, conduct a literature review, review research studies, conduct a conference, and prepare a final report. The American Association of Colleges of Nursing is deemed the only responsible source capable of providing the required work and services. The period of performance is sixteen weeks.
