Project consists of demolition and disposal of existing ductwork located in the fiberglass and welding shops. Furnish and install three (3) new exhaust fans, 1150 and 2400 CFM with associated ductwork, floor mounted air filters and electrostatic percipirtator in the welding shop. Furnish and install two (2) 1800 CFM ceiling mounted dust collection air filtration units complete with flexible collection arms, arm mounted lighting and hoods in the fiberglass shop. Furnish and install new 17600 CFM filter cartridge booth comprised of 4 modules with self contained fan and filtration in the fiberglass shop. Furnish and install new laboratory type fume hood with self contained exhaust fan in the fiberglass shop. Furnish and install new 5 HP air compressor in mezzanine level above fiberglass shop complete with piping to serve dust collection units and cartridge booth. Replace existing steam heating coil serving welding shop. Furnish and install new 7.5 ton air cooled condensing unit complete with refrigerant piping and accessories. Provide electrical wiring to support the above installed equipment complete with two (2) motor control centers. Work will be performed in an occupied building and an Industrial Hygiene plan will be required. Bid Issue on or about 17 July 97. Bid Opening on or about 10 Sep 97. Performance period will be one hundred twenty (120) calendar days. Estimated cost of construction is $100,000.00 to $250,000.00. This procurement is being solicited in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. Replies to this notice are requested from all business concerns. The small business size standard applicable to this project is a concern, including its affiliates, with average annual receipts from its preceeding three years not exceeding $7.0 million dollars.
