Locus, Jr., Contracting Officer (919) 541-2724 NIEHS shall receive construction bids for the replacement of steam generation equipment in Module B of Building 101. The successful bidder shall provide all labor, materials equipment and supervision to remove and replace the existing 67 PIG and 20 PSIG steam generators, deaerator/feedwater tanks and make-up pumps and associated piping. This work shall also include the installation of a chemical treatment system for the new generators. The period of performance shall encompass 365 calendar days following the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. The solicitation is available at no cost; blueprints, if desired, must be specifically requested along with a non-refundable fee of $15.00. The fee(s) must be provided in advance by check or money order payable to DHHS/NIH. Blueprint requests which are properly identified and that include the required payments(s) shall be mailed via first-class U. S. Mail service within two working days from receipt by NIEHS of the required fee(s). In the event that some type of express mail or commercial courier is desired, contact Denise Tyre at (919) 541-2724 to establish which types of services are available at this Institute.
