Project calls for repair of fire protection piping system and controls in Pump House Bldg 5001, to include provision of a new silent check valve, a new control valve, and a new above and below ground piping arrangement on the discharge of our existing diesel driven centrifugal 2500 GPM fire pumps; four each new fire pump controllers; four each new 250 GAL surge suppressors; modification of existing fire alarm control and transceiver panels; new electric motor driven jockey pump and controller; new system pressure relief valve; and new building electric service entrance and interior electrical distribution. Project shall also include the reassembly of a GFE fire pump and mounting the pump with a new coupler and stub shaft to one of the existing diesel engines. The estimated construcion cost range is between $250,000 and $500,000. The estimated construction time is 120 calendar days. This procurement is unrestricted andopen to both large and small businesses. All requests for this solicitaion must be made in writing. Bidders must state their business size in their request.
