intents to procure a NAC Ultranac Camera System -- P/N FS-501 (1 each),
a Polaroid File Back -- P/N UCB-1 (1 each), a Negative File Back -- P/N
UCB-2 (1 each), a Large Array Camera System -- P/N ICS-42A (1 each), a
Remote Fiber Optic Communication Line with 100m Cable -- P/N FO/42 (1
each), a 5 Volt Trigger Module -- P/N TM-010 (1 each), a 50 Volt
Trigger Module -- P/N TM-020 (1 each), a 500 Volt Trigger Module -- P/N
TM-030 (1 each), a FO (ST Connector) Trigger Module -- P/N TM-040 (1
each), a Ultranac Installation and Training (1 each), a Support Bench
Relay Lens and Bellows -- P/N ICS-10A (1 each), and two (2) Operator
and Maintenance Manuals. The system shall have an exposure time of 10
n/s or less, independently variable inter-frame times of 50 n/s or
less, CCD camera dynamic resolutions of 22 1p/mm or better with greater
than 570 x 350 pixels and at least 20 independent frames for data
collection. It is intended to award a contract to NACVisual Systems,
Inc., 980 Enchanted Way, Suite 203, Simi Valley, CA 93065, pursuant to
10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1). Market research has demonstrated that NAC
Visual Systems, Inc., is the only vendor capable of meeting the
Government's minimum needs. The proposed contract action is for an item
for which the Government does not own specifications and drawings to
permit full and open competition. Although this is a sole source
procurement, firms that recognize and can perform the required items
described above are encourged to identify themselves, but must include
descriptive literature which clearly demonstrates that the proposed
items meets all/each of the requirements contained herein, within
fifteen (15) calendar days after date of this publication. The final
determination by the Government not to open this requirement to
competition, based on any information provided, is solely within the
discretion of the Government. The FOB point is destination. Delivery
shall be within 3 months from date of contract award. All responsible
sources may submit a bid or proposal which will be considered by the
