FLORES, (202)231-2151 The Virginia Contracting Activity of the Defense Intelligence Agency intends to issue a commercial contract for Digital Auto Focus Stations (DAS). Each Digital Autofocus Station (DAS) is defined as a self-contained, free-standing unit that is designed to digitize (using Government-owned cameras) all recognized domestic and foreign film types, both negative and transparency, black and white films in widths from 70mm to 32cm, and in up to 500 foot lengths, and 4x5 to 8x10 sheet films, with correctly viewed imagery emulsion up or down. Each station will be a stand-alone unit, and shall operate independently of all other stations. Each DAS shall consist of a ZBE Satellite Aerial Copy stand, Model 10-1014, Brand Name or Equal, with motorized camera rotation and motorized roll film transport with footage meter, spare parts kit, and installation and training. Anticipated date of award is on or about 31 August 1997, with delivery required sixty (60) days after date of contract award.
