VAPAHCS intends to negotiate sole source with Elscint Inc. of Hackensack, NJ for the procurement of APEX XPERTVIEW-C SYSTEM an advance viewing station, xpert compatible, based on trackmouse/windows operating environment, with Intel Pentium CPU, 1 Gbyte SCSI Hard Disk, Ethernet TCP/IP Communication, 1280 x 1024 display resolution and 21" color monitor. The basic software package supports digital printers (xprint) and includes the Interfile 3.3 communication protocol (xinterfile). In addition, ACM-2B (thin cable for Ethernet link), AXM-21 (21" color monitor) and XCM-22 (single port OSI/ISO fast Ethernet link) all MUST be compatible with our 3 newly purchased Elscint Gamma Camera Systems already installed in our new hospital.
